The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regards to the large range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area every day. The support place established for intervention experiences a higher influx of prospective beneficiaries, which click here makes it challenging to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to permit the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
